BMW now has the 2-series listed on their US site that you can price out. only the 228i and M235i are available. prices start at $32,100. Lets see how pricey we can get it.

I hate this. I never go to the BMW site. Now that I did, I know that there is a 1 series hatchback that we don't get in the US.

I'm just amazed that in 2014 in Amurrica land of the free and 64 oz big gulps, that BMW is selling a car with no cup holder.
My 135is has 2 whole cup holders! Although one of them hides under the armrest unless you flip the armrest up out of the way.

My 128i also has that issue. not sure who designed that idea of blocking a cup holder. but I'm sure the 2-series has a cup holder. just might be tucked away like in the 3-series.

Maybe those little divots in front of the shifter are supposed to be the cup holders? They don't exactly look deep enough to hold any sort of actual beverage.

To answer my own question, maaaybe there's some kind of cover that goes over the cup holders that you can take out, a la the F30 3-series?
All I know is as a 1-series owner, I can confidently say that BMW cup holders are mediocre at best.
